Ram Cache provides a way to optimize PC performance, speed up access to the most frequently used data, and reduce the time required to load programs and games by using the PC's RAM. Unlike client RAM cache, this functionality uses the memory of the server PC.
How to configure Ram Cache for SENET Boot?
First of all, you should check if the driver for Ram cache is installed. The driver installs automatically when you update/install SENET Boot.
- To check if the driver is installed, go to the local SENET Boot Admin panel and open SENET Boot Settings → Advanced Settings. If the driver is installed, only the uninstall button will be available.
- Go to the Set Disks tab and click the edit icon next to the required disk.
Ram cache can be activated only for the disk with content.
- Check the box to activate the Ram Cache settings window and set the desired value from the available ones.
- Usage statistics are displayed by clicking on the graph icon in the Ram Cache tab.
