The SENET system has various options for logging in to the client Shell. Users can log in on their own or with the help of venue staff.
Table of contents:
📌Shell is a user interface on client PCs, i.e. a shell with games, applications, and other user interaction options for visitors of gaming centers, internet-cafes, and other venues.
How can a user start a session in the gaming Shell?
On the login screen, the following authorization options can be displayed:
1. Enter access code.
Users who do not yet have an account in the venue can input an access code generated by staff after paying for the playing time.
📌 After entering Shell a player can sign up or continue the session as a visitor with an access code.
2. Sign in.
Users can log in as a registered customer using their login or phone number and password.
📌 By clicking Forgot password, registered users can reset their password right on the login screen.
3. Register on the login screen
If users do not have an account, they can register on the login screen.
To register, click the "Not registered?" button.
When registering an account, users must verify their profile by email or phone number, depending on the method chosen by the venue.
- If the venue has a regular registration, users will receive a verification code to the email address they specified.
- If registration by phone number is connected, the code will be sent to the phone.
🔎 If there are no money or a valid subscription on the account balance, a modal window will appear after logging in to Shell, where one will need to enter the access code ( a receipt number) to top up the account.
4. Scan and pay.
Important! The block can be displayed only after connecting the payment system for your venue.
In the Scan and Pay block, users can select the desired amount of playing time: 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, and scan the QR code for online payment from their mobile device. The amount is calculated according to the rate valid in the venue as of the moment of choosing one of the time intervals.
📌 Use the Tech User field on the login screen to log in as a support or another Windows account. In this case, client Shell will not launch and you will be able to access the desktop.
How do I change the authorization options on the login screen?
Go to the admin panel and open Settings → Gamer Interface. In this tab, you will be able to choose which options will be available to users on the login screen and set their order.
Important! After customizing the login options, you will need to restart your PCs just once to apply the changes.
Selecting authorization options
You can change the authorization options in Settings → Gamer Interface → Login screen.
- Scan and Pay – the Scan and Pay block on the login screen.
- Log in – the ability to log in with a username and password.
- Enter access code – the ability to log in using a receipt number.
You can enable registration on the login screen in Settings → Gamer Interface → User Registration.
- Registration on the login screen – the ability to register right on the login screen, without having to log in to Shell first.
Arrange the authorization options
In Settings → Gamer Interface, you can configure the order of the blocks by simply dragging and dropping them to the desired position. The first block is always displayed expanded.
How can an administrator start a user session?
The administrator can start a session in Shell from CAP (customer admin panel).
By clicking on a free PC in the Map section, the administrator can start:
1. A session of a registered user. To do this, enter the client's login and password.
2. A guest session with an access code. You can start a session by creating a new access code or by entering a previously generated access code.
If you need to launch several gaming sessions with an access code all at once, you can select several PCs and launch these sessions simultaneously instead of starting them one by one.
3. A post-payment session. In this case, a player pays for the session only after it is over.
Check the Do not limit the session time box if you want to run the session for an indefinite duration. The session will end when the user exits Client Shell, or the administrator can terminate it from the venue's Map.
🔎 You can pay and delete post-payment sessions in Cash register → Post-payment sessions.
To monitor post payments, we recommend downloading the "Deleted unpaid postpaid sessions" report in the Statistics section.
