To integrate Kakao Pay with SENET, you must register with Kakao Pay and complete the necessary steps to obtain:
- A Merchant ID ✔️
- An Admin Key (Public Key) ✔️
🔎 The Merchant ID will only be issued once the process is finalized. After receiving the Merchant ID and Admin Key, please send them to our support team. We will set up the integration with SENET and get back to you once it's complete.
How to register with Kakao Pay?
1. Navigate to https://developers.kakao.com/.
2. Log in to your Kakao Pay account or create a new one by following the prompts on the website.
3. If you are logging in, enter your email and password. Then, check the box Save Login Information and click Log In.
4. Go to the My application tab.
5. Click Add the application.
Here you need to fill in some information:

- Choose your app’s icon.
- Enter the app name and company name.
- Select a category, for example, Entertainment.
- Accept the policy.
- Click Save.
6. Open the created application.
7. Go to App Keys and copy the keys.
Important! After you finish setting up Kakao, please send the Admin key to our support team so they can configure the integration with SENET. The Merchant ID will be issued after you finish setting up Kakao Pay.
8. Navigate to https://developers.kakao.com/console/app/1124553.
9. Go to the Business tab and click User identification.
10. Click Verify your account.
11. On the page that opens, click Everyone agrees / 모두 동의합니다.
12. Click Agreement / 동의 .
Important! User identification can only be performed using the information of the mobile phone owner. Only Korean mobile phone numbers can be used for user identification.
13. Fill in the identification form. Then click Next / 다음.
14. Go to Terms and Conditions. Click Agree and Continue / 동의하고 계속 진행 .
15. Click Check / 확인 .
16. On the page that opens, click Send authentication number.
17. Click on the 3 digit authentication number field and then click Didn't receive your verification number?.
18. Click on the cross in the 3 digit authentication number field. After that, click Complete to finish the setup.
19. Done! Once the setup is complete, you should receive the Merchant ID. Please send this, along with the Admin Key, to our support team, and we will configure the integration for you.
