The news you create can be displayed in Shell, allowing users to stay updated about important events.
Additionally, if you have the SENET mobile application connected to your venue, you can send push notifications so customers receive instant messages on their phones.
How to create a news publication?
1. Go to the admin panel and open the News section.
2. Click Add news.
3. On the creation page, fill in the following fields:
- Title – enter the name of the news item.
- Preview – a brief description of the news.
- Text – the main text of the publication.
- Image cover – upload a 1920x1080 image.
- Period – optionally, specify the period during which the news will be displayed.
- Centers where this news is available – enable the availability of the news for your venue.
- Save the settings.
Publishing news in Shell
If the mobile application is not enabled for a venue, the news will be displayed only in Shell:
- In the news widget on the main page.
- In the News section.
Publishing news in Shell and the mobile interface
If the mobile application is enabled for a venue, a separate block will appear on the news creation page, where you can select where the news will be displayed for each user type (Regular client, Guest, Staff, etc.):
- Shell – the news will be displayed in the Shell interface.
- Mobile interface – the news will be displayed in the mobile app.
You can also activate both options to make the news available in both modules.
Quick setup for all type of users
If you want to quickly enable all options for all existing users and choose to display the news in both Shell and the mobile app, select the venue and click Select all (1). This will automatically select all options for all types of users.
Settings for multiple venues
If you have more than 1 office in your organization, you can click Apply to all venues (2) to have these settings applied to other offices.
