Yes, you can cancel the reservation. In order to cancel it in the admin panel, go to the "Reservation" section. On the reservation schedule, select the one you want to cancel and click on it. A window will open where you need to click "Cancel reservation". During reservation canceling, you have to indicate the reason for the cancellation.
It is crucial to give clients advance notice of the change in the visit if the reservation was canceled not by their request. Enable notifications about canceled bookings so that users are always aware of the status of their reservations. The message will be sent via email or phone if the registration by phone is enabled. Be sure to check that this information is up to date. Employees receive notifications via email only.
To enable notifications, go to Booking Module → Settings.
The client can also cancel the reservation by himself on the booking portal. To do this, he needs to log in to the portal and go to the "My reservations" tab. Then select the required reservation and click "Cancel".
After canceling the reservation, the deposit will be refunded to the user's account. If the reservation is canceling after it has started, the no-show penalty will be written off from the user's balance (in case it's configured).
