How to update a staff member’s (admin) password
You can change the password for the admin user or any other staff member directly in the Shell, just like regular users do.
Important: To allow users to change their password, ensure the Allow password reset option is enabled in the admin panel → Gamer interface settings.
To change a password:

Log in to Shell under a staff account. You can also use the admin account.

Go to your profile by clicking on the avatar in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Open the Profile tab and click Change password.
- Enter your current password and create a new one.
- Save the changes.
How to reset a staff member’s (admin) password
If you or a client forgets their password, there are two ways to reset it:
How to reset a password via the admin panel

Go to the Users section and find the account that needs a password reset.

Open the user profile and ensure the correct email address is specified — the information will be sent there.
- Click Reset password.
🔎The reset password button in the admin panel is available for users with the superadmin role or those who have the "Reset password " right enabled in Users → Roles and user access.
How to reset a password from the Shell login screen

On the Shell login screen, open the sign-in window for registered users.

Select Forgot password.

Enter the email address linked to the account to receive a reset code. If your venue uses SMS registration, enter the phone number from the account profile instead — the code will be sent via SMS.

Once you enter the code, the system will prompt you to create a new password.
