Instructions for setting up the controller of the new generation:
- Connect the controller to a power source, having previously connected it to the console and TV.
- The controller will become a Wi-Fi access point “Sonoff - serial number” within two minutes.
- Connect to this access point using a laptop or smartphone.
- Using a browser, go to the controller settings page. The page is located at 192.168.4.1. If you connect from a laptop, the browser will open automatically.
- On the opened page fill in the following fields:
-
- AP1 SSId - the name of the Wi-Fi hotspot to which the controller will connect;
- AP1 password - the Wi-Fi password;
- AP2 SSId - re-enter the name of Wi-Fi;
- AP2 password - re-enter the password;
- Hostname - do not edit;
- API Server Domain - servername.app.enes.tech, where servername should be replaced with your organization's name. (In the same way as the admin panel address - servername.admin.enes.tech);
- API Server Port - do not edit.
IMPORTANT! The fields are case-sensitive. Play and play are two different hotspots.
6. Save the settings. The controller will reboot and, if everything is configured correctly, it will connect to your venue map and ask for authorization like a new PC.
7. Authorize the controller on the venue map.
8. After controller authorization on the map, it is necessary to set the status "Console" instead of "PC" in the technical mode.
9. After all these steps, the controller can be connected to the console and TV. After that, connect the power to the controller.
You can start the client session on the console both from the venue map (in the same way as you launch the client session on a PC) and from the console portal.
Controllers of the new generation have 1 HDMI input on both sides (Input, Output), in contrast to the controllers of the previous generation, which have 3 HDMI inputs.
