Before starting the transfer of games, make sure that the Epic Games platform and the game are already downloaded and installed on the distributing PC. The Epic Games platform must also be installed on the receiving PC.
An example of creating a torrent for transferring a Fortnite game to other PCs
For the Epic Games launcher to recognize the game as already installed on the receiving PC, you need to transfer the manifest file to this computer (each game has its own file). These files are stored by the path C:\ProgramData\ Epic\EpicGamesLauncher\Data\ Manifests. The needed name of the manifest file can be viewed in the .egstore folder located in this game's folder.
You can transfer a file in the same way as a game, using the file transfer option. In the "File path" field, specify the full path to the manifest file, for example:
C:\ProgramData\Epic\EpicGamesLauncher\Data\ Manifests \ 9434E055499B47DFA044B48BB47CAC54.item

After finishing the transfer of the manifest file on the receiving PC, the game will be ready for launching.
Changing the game location path
If you want to change the path, where the game will be located on the receiving PC, you need to change the path in the manifest file.
An example of how it was:
An example of how it became:
Please note, the path should be specified with two slashes in the file. That means if the game is located in the path E: \ Games \ Fortnite, then the file should contain an entry like this E: \\ Games \\ Fortnite.
If you changed the folder, after the changes in the manifest file, the Epic Games launcher will start checking the game files, if the game takes up a lot of space, this will be a rather lengthy process. Therefore, the best way is to transfer the game in the same path as on the distribution PC.
