What are “minimal payment” and “minimal session duration”?

     Short description

    During tariff creating, you can specify the minimal payment and the minimal session duration. You can configure these two parameters after activating the "One-time minimum payment at the start of the session" option in the window of tariff creation. In the “Minimal payment” field, specify the amount of money that will be debited from the client's balance immediately at the beginning of his session, for example, 5 USD. In the “Minimal session duration” field, specify the period of time that the client will receive at the beginning of the session, for example, 15 minutes.

                                   

    In this case, when the client starts a playing session, 5 USD is debited from his balance at once and the system automatically credits him with 15 minutes. Nothing will be debited from the client's balance during this period since the standard tariffication is not applied. However, once these 15 minutes end, the playing time will be tracked according to the established tariff. Thus, the client buys the minimal period of playing time for low cost, and you get an unequivocal profit from this because even if the player has not used the minimal session time until the end, the minimal payment will still be debited from his account. If the client does not have enough money to cover the minimal payment amount, he will not be able to play and a modal window for balance refilling will open for him. If desired, only the minimal payment can be configured.

    Basic principles of functioning

   The duration of the minimum session time is equal to the value, specified in this parameter. For example, the minimal session time is 60 minutes is set in the tariff, the user spent 10 minutes and ended the session, so he has 50 minutes unused. If the user returned in 20 minutes after the end of the session and started a new session on the same PC, then in this case, he will still have 30 minutes of the minimal session time available, and after these minutes end, the accounting of the playing time will begin in accordance of the set tariff. However, if in this situation the player returned on the next day and started a new session on the same PC, then in this case he will no longer have the remaining minimal time available since these 50 minutes are "burned" already.

    The principle of functioning of minimal payment and minimal session duration is similar to the passes. In the client part, information about this will be displayed as the active pass, where it will be indicated how much time until the end of the minimal session time has left.

      At the end of the minimal session time, the system starts to send notifications reminding that the time is running out. The period, for which the system will begin to warn the user, depends on what is specified in the organization's settings in the “End session reminder” parameter. All accruals of the minimal session time can be found in the pass history by specifying the required player's login. All minimal payment write-offs are displayed in the balance history both in the client part and in the admin panel.

    If a delayed start of billing is configured (that is, the first few minutes are free for the client), then the minimal payment is still debited immediately after the session start. Please note, that loyalty discounts and personal discounts do not apply to the minimal payment.

    When transferring a user from one zone, where a specific minimal payment is configured, to another zone, where another minimal payment is also configured, the user will pay this payment in each of the zones.

    Minimal payment and passes

    As for passes, the system first determines whether the user has an active pass:

• if an active pass is exist, then the minimal payment is not charged and the pass starts to work;
• if there is no active pass, then the minimal payment is withdrawn at the start of the session from the user's balance;
• if there is no active pass at the start of the session, but the next active passes falls within the validity period of the minimal session time, then the minimal payment is charged and the next active pass will start only after the end of the specified minimal session time.

    Minimal payment for club employees

    If you want the minimal payment to be charged from the club employees, then in the organization settings, activate the "Minimum payment for staff" parameter.

       

Please note, that the minimum payment will not apply to postpay sessions.
