The Games & Apps section is designed for managing your venue’s content. Here, you can add, create, and edit content cards that appear in the Shell interface for users.
✔️ This section provides all the tools you need to manage games and applications:
- Venue Library — activated cards available to users in the Shell gaming interface.
- SENET Library — a ready library of games and applications from SENET that can be quickly activated.
- Archive — a storage for deactivated cards.
- Activation and deactivation of cards — turn content on or off with one click.
- Filtering and search — quickly find the necessary cards by parameters.
- General settings — manage categories, tags, and other content parameters.
- Content creation and editing — activate pre-made cards from the SENET library or create local ones manually.
- Content display scheduling — choose the time when a card will be available in the gaming interface.
- Bulk actions — update multiple cards at once.
- Managing licenses — add and manage gaming accounts used to launch games.
Venue Library
The Venue library tab contains all activated cards displayed to users in the Shell gaming interface.
🔎 If a card is not displayed in Shell, check if the zone and launch method are specified.
Cards can be sorted by type, which helps you quickly find the content you need:
Auto-updating apps — games from the SENET library that support automatic updates (currently Steam and Epic). Marked with a badge
.
SENET library — activated from the centralized library, but may not support auto-updates
.
Local cards — manually created cards with full control over content
.
SENET Library
This tab contains all available cards from SENET that can be activated for your venue. They have already filled fields: description, icon, launch path, etc.
Some cards support auto-updates from Steam and Epic Games platforms — such cards are marked with the corresponding badge Auto-update .
Cards can be filtered by:
- All — full list of cards.
- Auto-updating apps — only those that support automatic updates.
Archive
This tab stores local deactivated cards. They no longer appear in users' gaming interface but remain available for viewing and restoring.
Turning cards on and off
In the SENET Library tab, you can find ready-made cards (1) that contain all the necessary information and launch methods. Activating them is simple — just toggle the switch on the card cover (2).
After activation, the card moves to the Venue Library and opens for configuration. To make the card visible in the gaming interface, you must specify the office and the zone(s).
📎 Before adding cards, create categories and tags in the global Settings — this will help organize content.
All activated cards appear in the Venue Library tab. Turning off the toggle deactivates the card. Local cards move to the archive, and SENET library cards return to the library.
Searching and filtering cards
To quickly find the necessary content, use search or filters. The search works by card name on any tab.
You can filter by the following criteria:
Offices — offices of the venue.
Categories — type of content: games, browsers, applications, etc.
Tags — labels you add to a content card, such as genre, features, or other characteristics.
Licenses — shows cards with gaming licenses.
Launch methods — Steam, Epic, local, etc.
Age restrictions — whether the card has access restrictions.
Filters can be combined, but changes apply only after clicking Save. This allows you to set all parameters at once without refreshing the results after each click.
General content settings
🔎 Before configuring cards, we recommend first creating categories, tags, and other basic parameters in the Settings section. This will allow you to organize content more effectively when creating cards.
Adding a new card
A new card can be added in the Venue library tab.
📌 SENET Library cards have all main fields pre-filled: description, cover, launch method, etc. Only specify the zones where the card should be available.
Steps:
1. In the Venue library, click the very first card — Add new.
2. Enter the name of the game or app.
3. If the card is already in the SENET library, select it from the dropdown menu.
- Click Confirm to activate the card.
- The card will appear in the Venue library and open immediately for zone configuration.
4. If the card is not found, a message will appear saying it is missing in the database.
Click Add manually to create a local card if the game or app is not found. You can send a request to tech support to add the game to the centralized database.
SENET Library cards have special badges 🏷️:
-
SENET library
— a game from the SENET library.
-
Auto-updating apps
— a game from the SENET library with automatic update support.
SENET Library Card Settings
When you activate a card from the SENET library, most main fields are already filled: description, icon, media, launch method, etc. This option is ideal if you want to quickly add content with minimal manual settings.
To complete the configuration, you need to specify where to display it (offices and zones).
Optionally, add categories (1) and tags (2).
You can expand launch settings by adding additional methods (1) and launch paths (2) for different offices and zones.
🔎 The “Reset to Default” button at the top of SENET library cards cancels local changes and restores the centralized card settings. Useful if the card was manually modified and needs to be reset to the default.
Local Card Settings
You can create a local card if the required game or app is not found in the SENET library. You can send a request to technical support to add a new card to the centralized database.
This type of card gives maximum control over the content but requires more attention and time for setup.
All information must be entered manually: description, icons, launch methods, etc.
After filling out and setting offices and zones, the card becomes available in the Shell gaming interface.
📌 Click the View in Shell button at the top right of a card to quickly preview how the card will look in the Shell gaming interface with current settings.
Optionally, you can expand launch settings by adding additional methods (1) and launch paths (2) for different offices and zones.
🔎 If you added several launch methods for a game, users in Shell can choose between the available options.
Content display schedule
Set Time restrictions in cards to control their availability in Shell.
The content display schedule allows limiting game availability within the day, for example, specifying that a game is available to launch from 10:00 to 22:00. This helps control content usage time.
If no schedule is set, the card will be available continuously.
Bulk actions with cards
Click the Group (1) button to select multiple cards at once and choose the needed option (2):
- Set zones — add zones to several cards simultaneously.
- Deactivate — remove cards from Venue library: SENET cards will be returned to the library, while local ones will be moved to the archive.
- Enable — activate multiple cards simultaneously (available in the SENET Library tab).
- Restore — return a local card from the archive to Venue library (available in the Archive tab).
Managing Gaming Licenses
The Licenses module allows launching games through prepared accounts provided by the venue. All key platforms are supported: Steam, Origin, Battle.net, Riot Games, Epic Games, Ubisoft Connect, Rockstar.
How it works:
In Games and Apps → Licenses tab, you add accounts and link them to the appropriate platform and game.
In the game card, you can separately enable/disable accounts linked to that game.
During game launch, the system automatically assigns a free account to a user. If all accounts are in use, a notification about unavailability appears.
How Users Can Play Using Their Accounts
Enable the Allow use of personal accounts option in the game card. This will let users in Shell choose whether to log in with a venue gaming license or use their account.
Content updates
Game Update is a module for centralized updating and installing content directly from the admin panel. To use it, enable the Activate Game Update option.
After activation, you can:
Set up automatic updates as soon as a new version appears.
Launch updates manually at a convenient time from SENET Library.
🔎 Automatic update is available only with the Premium plan. The toggle is always visible as a reminder that the feature exists.
Automatic updates
To launch updates as soon as a new version appears, enable the automatic update option.
- If disabled, cards will display an Update button on their cover, allowing manual updates from the Venue Library tab.
Launch errors
In Games & Apps → Launch Errors, you can view errors that occurred during the launch of games and applications in the Shell gaming interface.
🔎 Access to the tab with games, applications, and content updates is regulated in Users → User Roles and Access.
