🖥️ Follow this guide to enable automatic updates for your gaming PCs or trigger them at a time that works best for your venue. Updates run in the background and do not interrupt active user sessions.
If you have already configured Game Update, you can:
Enable auto-updates: Allow the system to keep your library up to date automatically.
Update on demand: Update anytime from the Apps & Games tab, maintaining full control over network load and update timing.
Update modes
Option 1: Automatic updates
Games update automatically as soon as a new patch is released. This process is seamless and does not affect the user experience.
How to set it up:
Go to CAP → Apps & Games → Settings.
Enable the Automatic update option.
There are separate auto-update settings for disk-based and diskless PCs.
Conditions for automated game updates:
Updates start automatically when a new version becomes available.
PC(s) must be online.
The process runs in the background.
📌 We recommend enabling automatic updates only if you have a stable network and fast internet. If your connection is weak, update the system manually at a convenient time, such as during off-peak hours or when the venue is empty.
Option 2: Updates at a convenient time (On-demand)
You can manage updates yourself to avoid peak hours or to prioritize specific games. All updates run in the background without impacting customers' gaming sessions.
How to set it up: Disable the Automatic updates option in Settings.
How it works: When a game patch is released, an Update available button appears on the game’s card within the Venue library tab.
To run an update:
Click Update available on a game card.
All PCs: Click the update button in the pop-up window. The game will update or install on all available stations simultaneously.
Specific PCs: Go to the PCs field in the same window. Click the update button next to specific stations you want to target.
Monitoring updates
To track the status of current updates and completed operations:
Go to the Map section.
Open History of updates.

Permissions
Before updating games, verify access rights. Only CAP users with Superadmin status can update games.
Important! Employees with "superadmin" status have access to all admin panel functionality.
To grant superadmin status:
Go to Users.
Select the desired account.
Enable the “Superadmin” option.
Save changes.
