PC Remote Access: Setup and Usage

📌 The Remote Access feature lets you connect to gaming PCs remotely via venue map. 

Requirements for successful remote access

The following conditions must be met for remote access to work:

• The gaming PC is running an administrator or client session.
• The PC is running Windows 10 Pro or higher.
• Both the PC you're connecting to and the PC you're connecting from are on the same subnet.
• On the map, just one computer has been selected for connection.

Remote connection is only available for PCs with:

• An active client session (a guest, regular user, postpaid, school, or staff session).
• An administrator session (any Administrator or the Support account).

Options available for remote access

1. Request for access confirmation

If enabled, the gaming PC will require access confirmation every time a connection is made. This option is enabled by default.

2. Control options

You can choose:

• View only (no control over the PC).
• Full control (modify settings, run programs, etc.). This option is enabled by default.

How to use remote access

1. Click on a PC with an active session on the venue map.

2. Select the Remote access option from the top menu to initiate the connection.

3. After clicking the Remote access icon, the SENET Remote Client software will open a new browser page to initiate the connection. 

4. To complete the connection, click Open SenetTerminalRunner in the new browser tab, and your PC will connect to the selected gaming PC.

If the connection doesn't occur

1. Ensure the SENET Remote Client is installed

• If the software is not installed, you will be prompted to download it. Simply click the link to download and install the software.
• After installing the software, try launching the remote access once again.

2. If the software is already installed

• • If the launch doesn't occur automatically, you can manually start the software by clicking the link in the modal window.

• • The SENET Remote Client software will open a new browser page to initiate the connection. 
  • To complete the connection, click Open SenetTerminalRunner in the new browser tab, and your PC will connect to the selected gaming PC.
