How to add a PC to the venue's Map?
📌 The local SENET Boot Admin panel displays all the PCs that have or have previously had E-launcher installed. If a PC is not yet in the system, it must be added to the venue's Map to install Windows/create an image.
If you want to install Windows on a PC that is not already in the system, add it manually and enter its MAC address. To do this:
- open the admin panel and go to the technical mode of the Map section;
- move the mouse over the area where there is no PC yet and click on the +;
- in the window that opens, fill out the information about the PC and be sure to specify the correct MAC address;
- save the changes. The PC will appear on the venue's Map and in the local SENET Boot Admin panel.
How to install Windows/create an image?
Once you have filled out the Windows Installation section and added the PC to the venue's Map, you can start installing Windows on your gaming PC. Before you start the installation, you need to select the desired type of bootloader (Legacy or UEFI) in the BIOS of your gaming PC in advance.
- Go to SENET Boot Settings → PC Management.
- Click on “...” in the field of the required PC and click on the Windows icon next to the selected gaming PC. This PC should be turned off, with the Offline status.
3. In the modal window that opens, enter the name of the image in the Image name field and select a file from the ISO selection drop-down list.
4. Tap Enable mode.
Important! You need to specify a name that is not used for an existing image, otherwise it will be overwritten without any possibility of recovery.
5. Turn on this gaming PC. Turning on the PC starts the installation process. The PC will restart several times during the installation process.
📌 The status of the operation can be viewed in PC Management → History of Updates.
The update will be completed when Windows opens the newly created account on the gaming PC.
