NEW: SHELL
1. Login screen
In the new version, we improved the design of the login screen and added the ability to adjust the authorization options. On your request, we can remove or restore the desired login method. For example, hide the entrance with receipts.
2. Survey at the end of the session
Collect customer feedback to better understand their needs and identify areas to improve in your gaming center. To set up a survey, create a google form with the questions you are interested in and send it to our technical support. When a user clicks the end session button, the form is displayed.
Please note that while users are completing the survey, their account is still being billed.
3. Notifications for the end of the session
By default, notifications for the end of the session are sent for both per-minute billing sessions and pass sessions. To turn off notifications when a pass session is about to end, contact our technical support team.
NEW: SHOP
1. Price changes for goods
To sell a product or service at a discount, it is no longer necessary to edit the cost in the card. In this version, it is possible to modify a product's pricing when generating a receipt. To do this:
- go to Cash register → Shop;
- select the desired product and click on the edit icon;
- set a new price for the product; it should be higher than 0.01, but not more than the original cost of the product;
- indicate the reason for the change in the comment field;
- save changes;
- make payment for the goods in cash or by credit card.
Price changes during the sale do not affect the cost of goods/services in their cards. Activate access to change price of shop items in Users → Roles and user access to allow employees to alter the price of goods.
2. Sorting of goods
Goods and services can now be sorted by creation date, price, stock balance, or alphabetically in Cash register → Shop.
3. Order acceptance
High workload, shift changes, or organizational issues can make it difficult to work with orders. Use the order acceptance feature to suspend and start order acceptance.
To stop receiving orders, go to the Shop section and click on the Order acceptance button.
In Shell, players will be notified that the shop is temporarily not taking orders. The shop itself will remain available for viewing, but the submit and payment buttons will be inactive.
4. Orders in CAP
Added the ability to filter customer orders by date and status – paid and unpaid. Additionally, the new order card displays the quantity and the names of the selected goods/services.
5. Order completion progress
Clients can now track the status of their orders in the Shell's Order History tab.
Players no longer need to pause the game to check whether an order has been completed or not. As soon as an employee moves the order to "done", a client receives a notification that it is ready.
6. Shop Shell orders
We can hide the button for submitting an order without prepayment if payment for goods with account balance is enabled in your gaming center. Thus, users will be able to place an order only if they pay for it with their account balance.
7. Cancellation of paid orders
Added the ability to cancel orders that were paid with the account balance. After cancellation, the amount for the order is returned to the player's balance. Players can only cancel “new” unprocessed orders. Employees can cancel any order.
To enable employees to cancel paid orders, activate return paid orders in Users → Roles and user access in CAP. Passes purchased as part of combo are not refundable.
NEW: BOOKING
1. Passes on the booking portal
Passes are now available on the booking portal! Increase customer loyalty and attendance by offering to book a workstation with the purchase of a pass at a discount.
To activate the purchase of passes on the booking portal, go to Booking module → Settings.
After selecting the booking period and workstation, players will see a window with passes. The system displays only those passes that are available for purchase at the time the reservation is made and will work at the scheduled time. The passes window won't show up if multi-purchase of passes is disabled and a player already has one on the balance.
If the venue’s loyalty program allows applying personal discounts on passes, the price will be shown including the discount.
The amount to be paid includes the cost of the deposit and the pass. After choosing a payment method, players will see a modal window where they can double-check details and confirm the booking.
If the pass's availability period coincides with the time of visit to the venue, a player can use it before the booking time. The choice of passes is not available for employees. If the reservation is canceled, the pass remains on the account balance, and only the deposit amount is returned.
2. Group booking
A player can create a booking for a company with just a few clicks. A new feature allows one user to book multiple workstations on the booking portal.
To do this, the player needs to go to the booking portal, select the date, time, and the required number of PCs/consoles and pay for the booking. A deposit is required for all workstations.
If a player has a personal discount or a loyalty program discount, it will be taken into account when displaying the payment amount for all PCs.
A message with the date of the booking and codes to unlock PCs is sent to the player's email after creating a booking. A separate code is assigned to each PC. Make sure notifications about created bookings are enabled in Booking Module → Settings. Booking details and codes can also be found in the My Bookings tab on the portal.
Before starting a session, the gamer who created the booking needs to log in with the username and password used on the portal. The rest of the players must enter a code to unlock the PC before choosing a suitable login method to access Shell: with a receipt or as a regular customer by entering their login and password.
3. Promo codes for the booking portal
Create promo codes to give players an extra discount on their PC reservations. After setting up in CAP, players can enter the code on the booking portal and receive a discount on the deposit.
4. Booking module in CAP
We took into account your wishes and improved the booking principle in the admin panel. You can book by selecting the necessary time slots and PCs, followed by choosing the type of reservation: service or client, and entering the missing information (gamer’s username, a comment).
When two or more PCs are selected, only service booking is available.
NEW: CAP
1. Bonus system in CAP
With this update, we have expanded the possibilities of the loyalty program by adding the setting of promo codes for registration and booking, as well as bonuses for topping up the balance.
Go to Zones and rates → Loyalty program, create your bonus system and attract even more clients to the venue!
Before setting up, be sure to select the type of bonus and activate the display of promo codes in the organization Settings.
To display the bonus system, contact our technical support team.
2. Licence pool for Rockstar in CAP
To set up automatic Rockstar license distribution, it is no longer necessary to contact our technical support team. We have added the ability to upload licenses in the content card to speed up and simplify this process.
3. 12-hour clock
Added the ability to change the time display in CAP, Shell, and on the booking portal from a 24-hour to a 12-hour format. Time will still be displayed in 24-hour format in reports and when creating rates and passes.
To change the time format, contact our technical support team.
4. Tax system
In the new version, you can manually add the desired tax system and tax type.
To do this, go to organization Settings → Tax system and enter its name in the Tax system field. In the Tax type field, enter the tax %.
If you want to remove a tax system or a tax type that is already used in product/service cards, the system will prompt you to select one of the previously added systems and automatically replace the settings.
5. Gamer photo and documents
The user card in CAP allows you to add a picture of a gamer and any supporting documentation, such as an ID card. By default, the fields for uploading photos are hidden. To display them, contact our support team.
To add a photo, click on the necessary player's login in the Users section. Upload a png or jpg photo in the "Gamer photo" and "ID document" fields. The image size should not exceed 50 MB.
The gamer's photo and ID document are saved in the card in the admin panel and are not displayed in the client shell.
6. Venue statistics
Checking real-time venue statistics is much easier now. We have added a new filter that allows you to download "today’s" reports.
Filtering covers data for a current day from 00:00:00 to 23:59:59.
7. History of transactions in Cash register
When topping up the balance using by player's login or PC/console number, the login of the user who received the funds is displayed in a separate field.
8. Separators for large amounts
Separators for thousandths and ten-thousandths of amounts have been added.
9. Shop access privileges
The Roles and user access section now includes the Shop category. The category contains all store-related access privileges.
10. Gender choice
It is now possible to choose other gender while creating or editing an account.
11. Czech and Hungarian
The SENET system interface is now available in Czech and Hungarian.
12. Authorization of the player on the venue map
The player’s session on the venue map can be started by pressing Enter after indicating the login and password.
13. Live chat
Live chat between venue employees and clients is now displayed in the lower right corner of the admin panel. An employee with access to chat will see the widget regardless of the opened section.
BUG FIXES
- Removed duplicate field for configuring reminder for the end of the session in CAP Settings.
- Restored the description of queries when uploading reports from Public API.
- The one-time minimum payment is charged once at the start of the session following its settings in the tariff card.
- The system no longer shows an error when registering a new account if the "know about us" field in organization Settings is checked as required.
