Version 77 – Game update for disk-based PCs

    1. Game update

   Game updates from the admin panel are now available for disk-based PCs! The Game update functionality simplifies this procedure by eliminating the need to manually update games on many machines.

   In the admin panel, you can select between automatic updates of all available games and self-management of updates. The functionality becomes available after connecting the Game Update add-on.

   To update, the PC must be “free”, that is, without any user sessions in Shell. A Windows administrator session may be running.

    Enable Local  paths  for  game  updates  in Settings,  and the latest version of games will be downloaded without your intervention as soon as new versions are available.

      When automatic updates are enabled, the system checks the computer's status regularly. If the PC meets the requirements, i.e., free or with an administrator session, it starts the update.

      You MUST select the disk with content on your PCs for both automatic and manual game updates.   You can do this using the Set paths button.

      The disk can be specified separately for the entire gaming venue and each zone. The disk letter must match the actual disk with the content in the gaming venue.

     To update games manually, go to Content → Game updates. To do this, you should first disable automatic updating.

     The number of games available for updating is indicated above the tab.  By clicking the Update Available button, you will be able to select a PC and start the game update.

BUG FIXES

1. The display of information in Statistics → Content usage has been restored.
   
2. When creating a zone with an existing name, the system will display an error.
