Beyond the standard restrictions (No limits, Minimal, and Maximal), the system allows configuring additional restrictions, permissions, and settings for the SenetUser local Windows account used to launch the gaming interface (Shell/E-Launcher).
These advanced settings provide greater control over the gaming environment and are applied by the SENET Technical Support team upon request.
Available Configuration Options
The following additional restrictions and settings can be configured:
Security & Access Control
Blocking file downloads in browsers – prevents players from downloading files through web browsers
Blocking access to specific websites – restricts access to particular URLs or domains
Blocking access to Command Prompt (cmd) – disables access to the command line interface
Blocking access to Windows Registry – prevents registry modifications
Blocking access to Task Manager – restricts the ability to view or manage running processes
Blocking access to PowerShell – disables PowerShell access
Hardware Restrictions
Blocking removable USB storage devices – USB ports will be disabled, preventing players from using flash drives or external storage on gaming PCs
System Settings
Enabling or disabling the firewall – configure Windows Firewall settings
Adding additional keyboard layouts – configure multiple language input options in the gaming shell
Configuring different monitor refresh rates (Hz) – set specific refresh rate settings for different PC zones
Disabling Alt + Tab on the login screen – prevents task switching during the login process
